the invite to the re-opening preview party of the Louis Vuitton Crown Casino boutique on 6 October arrived today. i heard it will be bigger and even more glamourous than the one that opened in Chadstone late last year.
the first of the sale preview invites is from Gucci:

i have been invited to view a special exhibition of alta gioielleria from the archives of BVLGARI this Sunday.
it is an unprecedented display of one of Italy’s premiere luxury brand’s most significant pieces from the past 125 years, selected from the extraordinary Bvlgari Vintage Collection. it will also include some from the private collections of their Australian clients which have never been on public display before. this follows their awe-inspiring exhibit in Rome last year and will only be on show in Melbourne for one week before it moves to Sydney.
to coincide with the show, BVLGARI will be hosting a film program at ACMI (The Australian Centre for the Moving Image). Timeless Glamour: Bulgari on Film showcases films in which the jewels share the screen with stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Gina Lollobrigida and Sophia Loren. The program runs from Tuesday 13 April to Sunday 18 April at ACMI in Federation Square, Melbourne.
i wonder if they’ll be handing drool buckets. i can’t wait!
